Alison and her team dedicate their spare time to rescuing injured birds, particularly those that have been hooked or entangled in fishing line.
We respond to around 300 birds each year across Bribie Island and surround areas.
Injured birds receive specialised care and veterinary treatment.
We rehabilitate and restore strength for a safe return to the wild.
Our goal is to return every bird back to the wild where it belongs.
